YWCA Miami is partnering with S.O.A.P. for a Super Bowl project to bring awareness about human trafficking. S.O.A.P. is a charitable and educational organization, specifically focused on educating and increasing awareness in the public on the prevalence of human trafficking, to restore trafficked survivors and to prevent teens from being victimized by domestic, minor, sex trafficking. YWCA’s first social justice warrior is Theresa Flores of S.O.A.P. (Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution) Project


·        Opening ceremony

·        Volunteers sit down to label and bag the soaps

·        All the bagged soap in the room is placed by how many bars are in it.

·        S.O.A.P. volunteers will help with this

·        Volunteers receive a training about human trafficking and how to distribute the items to the hotels

·        “It’s a Penalty” also partners with S.O.A.P. and shows a short video

·        Lunch will be served

·        Through a partnership with Uber, we will have complimentary rides for some volunteers to the Downtown Miami hotels to pass out the soaps and wipes
