Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager of Advancement & Donor Impact to join our team and drive our mission forward by securing funding for our initiatives and grantmaking. This key role will focus on developing and executing strategic fundraising initiatives to ensure sustainable funding while fostering meaningful donor relationships. Reporting to the Executive Director and collaborating with the senior management team, the Manager will lead our advancement efforts and enhance donor engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Fundraising Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and implement fundraising and advancement strategies aligned with the organization’s mission.
  • Lead the execution of comprehensive fundraising campaigns, including the annual “Grand Mission” individual giving campaign.
  • Set and monitor fundraising goals, providing regular progress reports.

Donor Engagement & Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with funders, sponsors, and donors.
  • Develop strategies to elevate donor engagement, including major and legacy gifts.
  • Work with the Board of Directors and the Development & Marketing Committee to enhance the organization’s development efforts.
  • Foster a culture of philanthropy within the organization.

Collaborative Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the senior management team to ensure fundraising efforts are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Engage community partners and stakeholders to increase visibility and impact.
  • Build familiarity with the organization’s programs and initiatives to effectively communicate their value to funders.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience managing and improving development operations, including CRM management, budget monitoring, and gift processing.
  • Proven experience stewarding major donors.
  • Broad experience as a fundraising generalist, including institutional giving, grant writing, major gifts, corporate partnerships, special events, and online giving.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in a managerial role leading a team.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in nonprofit development or relevant sales experience.

Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000
