Miami-Dade Beacon Council and The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade Announce Strategic Partnership to Empower Women and Drive Economic Growth
Miami, FL – November 7, 2024 – The Miami-Dade Beacon Council and The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade proudly announce an exciting new partnership designed to promote economic opportunities for women and foster gender equity in Miami-Dade County. This collaboration, which will harness the unique strengths of both organizations, will focus on addressing key economic challenges that women face, while driving inclusive growth in the region. The partnership’s strategic focus is rooted in data from both organizations’ research.
Dr. Paula Hopkins, Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Fund Development at the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, will serve as Co-Chair for The Women’s Fund’s annual Power of the Purse event on March 14, 2025, further highlighting the importance of this collaboration in advancing women’s empowerment and economic mobility.
