The Women’s Fund Internship Program

SUMMER 2026 APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN 

The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade is looking for dynamic interns to help us advance women and girls initiatives. Interns will learn how to promote the work of nonprofit organizations, create and maintain engagement with community partners through virtual events, support fundraising and advocacy initiatives, and engage new supporters.

The duration of the internship will be from June 2026 – August 2026. The internship can be for one semester or more depending on the student’s interest and availability. 

The student is expected to work a minimum of ten (10) hours per week, or more depending on interest and availability. The student will report to the Director of Research and Policy, Viviana Alvarado Pacheco, and the Programs and Operations Associate, Daniella Luna, alongside other supervisors.

The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2026

Programs Intern 

Support program initiatives through advocacy, research, and impact. Assist with outreach, event planning, and data analysis while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit program management.

Advocacy Intern 

Engage in legislative research, community outreach, and policy advocacy. Build relationships with key stakeholders and track relevant legislation to support women and girls.

Research Intern 

Conduct research and data analysis on issues affecting women and girls in Miami-Dade. Contribute to reports, dashboards, and advocacy efforts to drive meaningful change.

Social Media Intern 

Create and manage content across social media platforms to promote events and campaigns. Develop engaging posts, analyze performance, and maintain digital engagement.

Development Intern 

Assist with donor relations, CRM management, and fundraising research. Support organizational growth by identifying funding opportunities and maintaining donor databases.

Grants Intern 

Research funding opportunities and assist in writing compelling grant proposals. Help secure financial support for programs that empower women and girls.
