Our Pillar:
Heath and Well-Being
Help us ensure women’s health and well-being, regardless of race, background, or economic status.
The Status of Women In The States ranks Florida as #32 in the country in health and well-being. Women are at special risk of specific health conditions, such as depression and exposure to intimate partner violence, and typically incur greater health care costs than men. Low-income women and women of color are especially likely to experience poor health outcomes.

The Challenges
Our Response
The Women’s Fund supports programs, policies, and educational initiatives that improve the lives of women and girls in Miami-Dade County and beyond. We identify and target gender-based inequities and advocate for equality for women and girls. We convene and collaborate with other agencies and organizations to create systemic change that addresses issues of economic security for women and girls.
Data and Research
Current Reports
The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade advances gender equity by closing critical data gaps that leave women and girls invisible in policy and decision-making. By collecting, analyzing, and sharing data through a gender lens, we equip leaders, advocates, and communities with the insights needed to drive informed action and lasting change.
