For three decades, we have invested in transformative initiatives supporting women and girls across our community. Together, we are building a Miami-Dade where women and girls rise to leadership, achieve equal opportunity, can access equitable health care and are free from violence.

Our Origins
In 1993 in the wake of Hurricane Andrew’s destruction, a small group of dedicated women made a decision to transform the lives of women and girls in Miami. With just $5,000, they founded The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade and set out to fill the huge funding gaps in programs working with girls and young women.
